Participation in all 14 events is not required, but we hope your schedule allows you to do as many events as possible. Schedules for times and competitors names are electronically entered for each participant on Friday PRIOR to the commencement of the competition. All throwers who are entered in each event must compete in any event they have entered.
 
A retraction of a thrower from an event on any given day can cause a 30 to 45 minute delay in our competition. Therefore PLEASE do NOT put your name down for an event you have no intention of competing in. Once this information is entered a thrower will NOT be able to change it throughout the Competition.

Fees - Amateur/Senior Throwers:
 
A fee of $100.00 is required for participants to enter our World Championship Amateur Event, Senior Event and Amateur No Spin Event if paid by 1st of September 2018. AFTER September 1st, 2018 a fee of 125.00 will be assessed for the conventional Amateur, conventional Senior event and the Amateur No Spin event.
 
Non contestant Dinner guests 25.00 each, for dinner and attendance at the Competition, and the Award and Induction Ceremony. Please get your tickets at the front desk for door prizes. Guests registered after the 1st of September 2018 for the Award, Induction Ceremony, and Dinner will be 35.00 at time of registration.
 
Fees - Pro Throwers:
 
A fee of $150.00 is required for participants to enter our 18th Annual World Championships PROFESSIONAL competition in Conventional Knife and Hawk and PROFESSIONAL NO SPIN. IF paid by 1st of September 2018. AFTER September 1st, 2018 a fee of 175.00 will be charged for the Professional Contestants in all three categories.
 
Non contestant Dinner guests 25.00 each, for dinner and attendance at the Competition, and the Award and Induction Ceremony. Please get your tickets at the front desk for door prizes. Guests registered after the 1st of September 2017 for the Award and Induction ceremony and Dinner will be 35.00 at time of registration.
 
World Championship Gold Cup Knife throwing Rules:
 
The IKTHOF Gold Cup Knife World Championships will use a double elimination system to determine a winner in the Conventional Knife and Hawk as well as the Professional No Spin Division in a fair and equitable manner.
 
Professional Conventional Knife GOLD CUP Each thrower will throw the same three knives of the same length and style for each distance: 1⁄2 spin (2 meters 6ft.6 inches min.) by the blade, 1 spin (3 meters 9ft 10 inches11 ft. min.) by the handle, 1 1⁄2 spin (4 meters 13 ft 2 inches. min.) by the blade, 2 spins ( 5 meters 16 ft. 5 inches. min.) by the handle, 2 1⁄2 spins ( 6 meters 19 ft.8 inches min.) by the blade, and 3 spins ( 7 meters 23 ft. min.) by the handle.
Targets will have 10 cm or 4 inch center (worth 5 points.), 20cm octagon (worth 4 points.), a 30 cm outer octagon (worth 3 points.). A 40 cm octagon worth 2 points and a 50 cm octagon worth 1 point. Knives are scored as they stick.
 
Knives must be at least 12 inches long and no longer that 16 inches with no exceptions for IKTHOF Conventional Throwing. Knives should be at least one ounce per inch or heavier for safety. Heights of targets are top targets 60 inches to center, Center target 50-inches to center.
 
Professional No Spin Knife GOLD CUP World Championships Each thrower will throw the same three knives for each distance: 2 meters (6ft.6 inches min.), 3 meters (9ft 10 inches11 ft. min.), 4 meters (13 ft 2 inches. min.), 5 meters (16 ft. 5 inches. min.), 6 meters (19 ft.8 inches min.) , and 7 meters (23 ft. min.) Targets will have 10 cm or 4 inch center (worth 5 points.), 20cm octagon (worth 4 points.), a 30 cm outer octagon (worth 3 points.). A 40 cm octagon worth 2 points and a 50 cm octagon worth 1 point.

Each thrower will throw the same three Tomahawks for each distance: 1 spin (3 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw, 1 1⁄2 spin (4 meters.) handle up blade facing backwards before the throw, 2 spins ( 5 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw, 2 1⁄2 spins ( 7 meters ) handle up blade facing backwards before the throw, and 3 spins ( 9 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw.. Targets will have 10 cm or 4 inch center (worth 5points.), 20cm octagon (worth 4points.), a 30cm outer octagon (worth 3points.), a 40 cm octagon worth 2 points, and a 50 cm octagon worth 1 point. Tomahawks are scored as they stick, and each thrower must have 3 Tomahawks of the same length and style. 3 Hawks will be required with 13 inch handles or longer and no more than a 4 1/2 inch cutting edge. Heights of targets are top targets 60 inches to center, Center target 50-inches to center.
 
AMATEUR Gold Cup World Championship Knife throwing Rules:
 
The IKTHOF Gold Cup AMATEUR for both conventional and the No Spin Knife tournament will use a SINGLE elimination system to determine a winner in the Conventional Knife as the Amateur No Spin Division in a fair and equitable manner.
1⁄2 spin (2meters 6ft.6 inches min.), 1 spin (3 meters 9ft 10 inches11 ft. min.), 1 1⁄2 spin (4 meters 13 ft 2 inches. min.), 2 spins ( 5 meters 16 ft. 5 inches. min.) Heights of targets are top targets 60 inches to center, Center target 50-inches to center.
 
Senior Gold Cup Knife Throwing Rules 
The IKTHOF World Championships 3 target, 4 distance , 4 lane IKTHOF Senior Conventional Knife Throwing CompetitionGold cup single elimination. Each thrower will throw the same three Knives for each distance: Distances are 2 meters, Half spin by the Blade, 3 meters one spin by the Handle, 4 meters one and a half spin by the Blade and 5 meters two spin by the handle. All designated meters are minimum distances.Knives are scored as they stick, and each thrower must throw the same knives from all distances and have 3 knives of the same length and style. Knives must be at least 12 inches long and no longer that 16 inches. Knives should weigh at least one ounce per inch or heavier to compete. 
Heights of targets are top targets 60 inches to center, Center target 50-inches to center.

The Central United States Championship 3 target, 4 distance , 4 lane IKTHOF Amateur Conventional Knife Throwing Competition. Each thrower will throw the same three Knives for each distance: Distances are 2 meters, Half spin by the Blade, 3 meters one spin by the Handle, 4 meters one and a half spin by the Blade and 5 meters two spin by the handle. All designated meters are minimum distances.Knives are scored as they stick, and each thrower must throw the same knives from all distances and have 3 knives of the same length and style. 
Knives must be at least 12 inches long and no longer that 16 inches with no exceptions for IKTHOF conventional throwing.

NO SPIN KNIFE World Championship AMATEUR DIVISION

Each thrower will throw the same three Tomahawks for each distance: 1 spin (3 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw, 1 1⁄2 spin (4 meters.) handle up blade facing backwards before the throw, 2 spins ( 5 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw, 2 1⁄2 spins ( 7 meters ) handle up blade facing backwards before the throw, and 3 spins ( 9 meters.) handle down blade facing forward before the throw.. Targets will have 10 cm or 4 inch center (worth 5points.), 20cm octagon (worth 4points.), a 30cm outer octagon (worth 3points.), a 40 cm octagon worth 2 points, and a 50 cm octagon worth 1 point. Tomahawks are scored as they stick, and each thrower must have 3 Tomahawks.
AMATEUR HAWK DIVISION
 
Conventional Tournament Hawk throwers that have not reached the score of 140 points in an IKTHOF tournament may enter the Amateur Hawk Division. However, a thrower may enter the Pro Division if he/she so chooses.
 
The IKTHOF World Championship 3 target, 3 distance, 4 lane IKTHOF Amateur division Conventional Tomahawk Competition.
 
3 hawks will be required. Distances are 1 spin (3 meters.) blade facing forward before the throw, 1 1⁄2 spin (4 meters.) blade facing backwards before the throw, 2 spins ( 5 meters.) blade facing forward before the throw. Tomahawks are scored as they stick, and each thrower must throw the same Hawks from all distances. Three IKTHOF regulation targets.Targets will have 10 cm or 4 inch center (worth 5 points.), 20cm octagon (worth 4 points.), a 30 cm outer octagon (worth 3 points.). A 40 cm octagon worth 2 points and a 50 cm octagon worth 1 point. Hawks are scored as they stick, and each thrower must have 3 hawks of the same length and style. The targets will be thrown from left to right. Heights of targets are top targets 60 inches to center, Center target 50-inches to center; 3 Hawks will be required with 13 inch handles or longer and no more than a 4 1/2 inch cutting edge.
 
IKTHOF SENIOR DIVISION HAWK
The IKTHOF World Championship 3 target, 3 distance, 4 lane IKTHOF Senior Division conventional tomahawk competition.
